Herby Wallace has it tabbed out in one of his courses-I believe it was the one called "Learn 14 songs on E9th"-it is very well done and the whole course is good-naturally, Herby did it-anything he does is great ! Also Keith Hilton has a version in an old song book he did-called Country Hits-or something like that.

I don't recall who played steel on the big hit Tennessee Waltz, but I do know that Bobby Koeffer joind the band shortly after and played some outrageously cool stuff. The Pee Wee box set has its share of clunkers, but some real gems too, and many shining moments for Koeffer.

That steel parts on the classic recording of the tune are very easy and fall right out on C6 lap steel. Particularly I am thinking of where harmony fidddles play the head and the steel plays the bridge.
