Hi from Michigan Rob.
Haven't seen you here too much. I'm still wearing out that "My Shoes Keep Walkin' Back to You" CD.

What kind of rhythm track are you looking for?
What I do is cut my own for intros and turnarounds only.
Let me know if I can help.

What I am looking for is a WEB site...I saw this two days ago..topic had a site to click on ..over 200 songs already done...probably BIAB,and you could listen to the tracks...I was going to write down some of the info, but went away to do another task and didn't write anything down. The author said he didn't mind them being used for practice tracks, but of course no commercial use.I have not been able to locate the site again..The tracks were pretty good for the use intended.I would like to download a few to practice with,if I could locate the source...That's what happens when you have a liberal case of 'CRT',followed closely by a good dose of 'CRAFT'...Thanks anyone... |

Jim,thanks for playing my CD...glad you like it...I have 10 others, all good country,(not because I'm on them, but because they are 'good country'songs, and all have great musicians playing on them. And I develop my arrangements around the pedal steel guitar mainly. Some of the players are,Jimmy Day,Scotty,,Jeff Newman,John Hughey,Tommy White ,Herbie Wallace,Joe Wright,Tom Morrell, Jr. Knight,Stu Basore,Hal Rugg,Jack Heern,Duane Marrs, Bobbe Seymore,Ron Elliott,.I feel very priveledged to have had these great pickers on my albums...Thanks again Jim... |

Hi Rob,
I download country midi files, they take approx 5 seconds to download, then I mute the lead instruments by lowering the numbers from say 127 to 90 or less using my friends program 'Cakewalk', save it and play them through winamp. It's easier than it sounds.
And there are some very good files.
See 'Bar chatter' (Practice using midi files.)
