I played this last night by accident. I don't know where I was going to go, but this worked great. I think I've played this before, but I caught myself by surprise.
(Don't you just hate that?)
Hope you like it!
It ends in the key of A

Ernie,
That reminds me of a lick I use frequently.
It goes:

1____________________________________
2____________________________________
3____________________________________
4____7(C)--5(C)___5(C)--5--5(L)--5___
5____7(C)--5(C)______________________
6____7(B)--5(B)___5(B)------------5___
7____________________________________
8____________________________________
9____________________________________
10___________________________________

Kind of similar to yours. I like the way the last notes resolve together.
