This is cross posted 'cause I don't know where it belongs:

Is the Twitty/Hughey arrangement of Last Date with the steel intro in C modulating to F for the vocal considered the standard arrangement? Is this what you do on the stand?

Hey Jon; I have played this only as instrumental; when a piano player sits in. I guess if someone wants to sing it; they will go for a key they sing comfortablely in. But keeping with the history of the instumental piano version; that song is in "C"; as you well know. I'm guessing that is what the Twitty birds did
