Hi everybody,

Where can I find directions for writing tabs: I want to know how to write the rhythm.

They typically don't bother with the rhythm unfortunately but the dots underneath for the beats as shown at www.buddyemmons.com help a lot. You could notate any variance from eighths and quarter notes any way you can come up with.

Thanks, 'asdasd'. Shortly after posting my question I ran across the "Tablature explanation" under a transcription made with tab creation program Tabestry (for instance under A. Volks' transcriptions on Brad's Pages of Steel) I think I'm gonna use these. I prefer an accurate rhythm notation, so you don't have to know a tune to learn it from paper. Thanks anyway.
