I like to use the open G tuning on lap steel of 1-3-5-1-2-5. This way I can bend the 2 up to the 3 for a nice pedal steel sound. Does anyone have any other licks they can tell me for this tuning? Thanks

Hello Mark ,
What gauge do you use for the G and B and A strings ? I would like to try that tuning on an acoustic .
Thanks ,
Ingo.

I like to use a lighter gauge string for the A string because some times bend that string takes a little effort. On my lap steel I use 15-60 guage but the A string is a 13 gauge.
