I always seem to run into trouble when it comes to Good Hearted Woman trying to fill the gap between the next chord when I have to do a solo.
Does anybody have some good runs that can help? I don't want to play the melody which is the trap I seem to fall into each time.
Thanx, Don

I wouldn't say playing the melody is falling into a trap! It can be one of the hardest things to do RIGHT , and the melody with slight variations can 'say' a whole lot more than oodles of noodled 120 mph speed picking riffs....
IMO
