Topic: Looking for new nut rollers for E9 |

One of the rollers (string 5) on my MSA Classic SS sits lower than all the others. After taking out the roller axle and all the rollers, I determined that its hole is bigger than all the others, so it sits lower. I've temporarily fixed this by wrapping the axle with tape, but I would like to replace it with a properly drilled roller. Here is a diagram since I don't want to take it apart again.
Can anyone point me toward someone who sells rollers that would fit the nut on an MSA Classic SS? I think I would be fine with any material, although I would prefer something silver that will match the rest of the instrument. I use standard E9 string gauges. Thanks!

| if you want to send it to me in Petaluma, I can plug the hole and re drill it to the proper size. Just buying a new one from Wayne is probably your best bet, Of course Jim can make one for you, but he may also have one lying around...he's got a lotta doo dads, doo hickeys, thing a ma bobs, and whatzits! |

Hi Ross, I'll try these other two options first (Jim and the online store in Alberta). If those don't work, I'll be back in the Bay Area for spring break (I go to college in Arcata) and could visit you then. I'll PM you if the other options fail. Thanks! |

There was only one size that MSA manufactured for those guitars.

I meant string gauge. All my rollers are gauged, and the one I need is for string 5, .018. Thanks. |

There were no separate string gauges on old versions of the MSA. So, you must have rollers that someone has already changed out somewhere in the guitar's history. Your best bet then, is have Jim make you one
