$ 800
This is a perfect guitar in great condition for a lightweight pedal steel. This was built as a starter model by Carter. Carter was a company founded by Bud Carter and John Fabian. While both were alive, Carter’s dominated the market becoming one of the largest producers because of their production ability. I’m guessing at the year but the guitar shows little wear. The legs are lightweight aluminum and adjustable. The body has no dings that I have seen. All the mechanics are working well. This is a double raise, since lower guitar. There are three pedals and four knee levers with a standard Emmons setup with ABC foot pedals, E-F LKL, E-Eb LKR, B-Bb RKL,D#-D/C# RKR. The pickup looks single coil and is bright. The pedal action is good. There is little or no cabinet drop. The tuners seem tight. The changer looks clean. The strings come back to tune. It has a cover but no case. I have a flight case for a pedal steel I am selling separately. If you want both the guitar and the case, e-mail me and I’ll combine the two and give you a discount. If you’re new to steel guitars, I’ll add a set of E-9 strings, a tuning wrench and a bar.You could play all the country you want for years with this guitar. Ther is no leg bag.

Yours is in a lot better shape than mine, and I paid >50% more for it. It was the perfect gateway drug for me; now I'm hooked 🤠 _________________ VeteranAudio.com - IG: htxguitarslinger |

Is this Guitar still available? If so, do you have pictures? _________________ I have played guitar for over 60 years, PSG for 5 & bass for 7 years. Currently, I play bass in a band. I also collect guitars and basses. I live in Florida on the east coast. In my picture is a 1948 Gibson Grande of mine that was used in a Hank Williams movie. |

I think there's a possibility this person is a scammer. The pics were from a reverb ad, and this is the first post they made since 2015. I hate to assume, but it looks sketchy. |

We agreed on a price, but communication went dead when I asked to discuss details by phone. |

I have disabled the account, but it seems that the system is still allowing members to PM/email this user.
It does look like a scam. If you have, in fact been scammed, it would be useful to know that. Please email admin@steelguitarforum.com if you have had a problem. But first, you should seek resolution from whomever you did this transaction through - e.g., paypal, bank.
I'm closing this ad, but leaving it up as a warning (changing thread title).
If you haven't looked at this thread, you need to - https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=405611 - this has been going on for a while. A lot of users have very easily cracked passwords. Criminals have been hacking into these accounts and doing this type of scam, especially in the last month or so. |
