Just saw that Rich Arnold has taken up the Alkire tuning. I guess my work is done. Smile I can't wait to see what someone with Rich's talent does with the tuning. going to be amazing I'm sure. Be sure to share your stuff as you learn the tuning Rich.

(On a personal note: I'm deleting my Facebook account tomorrow and I've already deleted all my other social media accounts. I'll be focusing on creating D13th videos on youtube and maybe even some more Alkire stuff. And of course, I'll still be posting to the SGF. The Steel Guitar Union Hall will be administered by HowardR).

I wouldn't jump the gun quite yet.
The Alkire tuning is extremely different and it's a whole new approach to the non-pedal guitar.
The verdict is very much still out.
On the one hand, I haven't found any fault with that tuning but on the other it's requires a whole new skill set.
I'm not sure how much time I will have to play with it. R.
