Topic: C pedal pulling 5th string sharp on Emmons PP |

| I can't figure out how to tune the 5th string raise on the c pedal. There is no undercarriage tuning nut for the 5th string on this guitar but I've read those are only necessary for a 1/2 step change anyway. Right now pedal c is pulling the 5th string sharp. Thanks for any help! |

| The A pedal should pull to the same pitch as the C pedal: all the way. (Unless you have a raise to D on another pedal.) So maybe another way of looking at your issue is to say that the A pedal does not raise the 5th string all the way. |

Hey thanks for the reply. I have read this before too but in this case the A pedal is in tune with the guitar to standard pitch but the C pedal is still pulling the 5th string way sharp. No raise to D |

| Mash the C pedal and tune the raised note to C# with your left hand. Release the pedal and tune the string to B with the screw on the right end plate. Go under the guitar and move the collar on the A-pedal's pull of the 5th sting so that it pulls a little more, all the way up to where the metal piece that it pulls hits the wooden body just like the C pedal does. |

Ok I finally got a chance to try that and its not perfect cause Im new at this but it helped. Thanks Earnest |
