This will likely yield a lot of answers.

For hearing pedal steel in commercial country, you can’t go wrong with the original lil darlin recordings of Johnny paycheck. “The beginning “ and “on his way”. These have Lloyd Green all over them. I consider Lloyd Greens work on these to be the “meat and potatoes “ of what we do as a commercial pedalsteel player.

There are so many many fine examples.

Jimmy dickens with buddy emmons

Conway twitty with John hughey.

Ray price with jimmy day
Ray price with buddy emmons

For more Lloyd green, personally I love Charley Pride live at panther hall. One of the finest live performances ever imho.

There is the original Farewell Party album by Gene Watson with a lot of Lloyd Green steel on it. Is another good album to add to the list.
