These are really, really nice guitars. Darin and Kelcey build a superb instrument that plays and sounds incredible. Good luck with the sale.

Beautiful guitar

Kind of a related Question for you -

Can Emmons ( or perhaps you ) post a copedant of this 5-pedal E9th steel ‘the old fashioned way’ ?

I find the Emmons Company’s current method of presenting a steels set-up rather confusing.

Thanks
Ron

I am blown away by this “Resound” Emmons. What does resound do other than confuse me by the copedent which is colorful but real busy to my tired eyes. If anybody can explain the Resound system and can it be on all brands or just Emmons?

Thanks

Now we are talking Alan! Thanks for the copedentbthat I am used to looking at. Not to say the other was wrong or anything, it was too many directions for me.

The multi-colored Emmons document is the tuning instructions for this new ReSound’65 push/pull guitar. These are beautiful guitars top and bottom - love mine!

I like the looks of the 65 reissue and would probably like the color coded copedent. Just used to the old spreadsheet look, black and white. No harm towards anyone’s new program. Just my 2 cents. The best Sho Bud sound I was just turned on to is a guy in Texas named Dickey Overby! I have never heard Sound like he hoes out of that Sho Bud Man if that 65 reissue sounds like the one Dickey played I am all in !

Happy New Year!

I've heard Dicky play a Sho Bud and an Emmmons push pull. He sounded great on either. There's no magic guitars. It took me years of trying all the gadgets, different guitars, amps, strings, etc... My sound didn't change appreciably. I finally started to notice that good players always sound good. I guess it's part of being a musician to always be experimenting. I agree, that Resound is something I'd like to have. I was at Emmmons a couple years ago and they had a new red SD10 that I would have bought on the spot, but it was sold to a customer. I don't like to wait months on having a guitar built. I guess I'm more of an impulse buyer.

The current wait time on a new build according to the Emmons Website is 10-12 months, making this SD 10 a good buy for someone looking without the wait. My wait time was 17 months before completion, but worth it once I received it. You would not regret buying this!

As mentioned, the wait time is in excess of a year. Life circumstances have changed and I've decided it wasn't a prudent purchase for me at this time.
