Not interested in Fender D8’s, Are there any other kind of double 8 PEDAL steels out there? Probably guessing they are custom jobs like Jackson or Clinesmith. Would be interested to know and if you’re selling.

Modern build d-8 pedal steels are rare, but do see them every now and then. Here’s a nice one.

I think there are a couple of builders that might offer one. I actually see more new s-6 pedal steels than d8s.

Is converting a d-10 an option?

My friend Mark Perrodin reminded me that Williams built a d-8 back in 2012 or earlier...

My coffee has kicked in and I remember that Desert Rose built an s-8 pedal steel, and most likely build a d-8..
