I have used iStroboSoft by Peterson for years. There are many extra tuning options available as well.

I also have iStrobosoft. The app is 10 bucks; the adapters are another 20 or so plus shipping. Still much cheaper than the Strobostomp, and it’s a great tuner with all the same built-in goodies. The only problem I have with it is how to physically set up the phone so the display can be easily read. A music stand works, but makes for a bigger stage footprint. The Stomp definitely wins the convenience battle.

I have 3 on my iPhone ... of course the Peterson iStrobosoft, but also one called KeyTuner and another called Cleartune, which I believe PF uses.

They all work well, and since I always have my phone with me they're handy too.

Ditto on the Peterson iStrobosoft app - accurate/precise, nice display, like the noise filter too. Handy for any instrument

Hi anybody, which kind of adapter from jack plug to the Apple-Lightning input of an IPhone, which works with the iStrobosoft App can be used? I just dont want to use the internal mic for tuning on a bandstand. A standard Lightning to jack plug adapter may serve just as output, will do the job in the reverse direction as well?

Markus,

Lightning to 3.5mm female (standard headphone jack) + 3.5mm male to 1/4” female.

Maybe there is a lightning to 1/4” female adapter now, but I couldn’t find one when I was looking 3-4 years ago.

Key Tuner. It's on the Apple App Store.
I've been using it for years.
