Thanks Sam!

This is my design and build, using an Emmons neck and push pull changer.

My first iteration of this concept involved a completely removable neck with storage inside. Cabinet drop was an issue so I compromised and this was the result:

This guitar plays great, and no issue with cabinet drop.

I don't have pedals installed yet on this new keyless drawer "emmons," so I can't measure cabinet drop, but based on my previous experimentation, I don't think it will be an issue.

Here are some pics. The guitar is finished and sounds and plays quite well. Like all my builds it's a Frankenstein mutt. I have now tried my hand at building all pull, pull release, and push pull with success.

IMO push pulls are a special instrument. The changer design is elegantly simple. I would be curious to find a way to make the pull train easier to work on. For example how LKL, LKR, and C pedal all correspond with each other on string 4 can really be a bugger.

All pulls have the advantage of ease of adjustment. Perhaps there could be a way to have my cake and eat it too. I've looked at forum pictures of one of Bobby Bowmans push pulls. He seemed to have some clever insights.

Anyways I digress. Thanks for looking and reading![/img]
