Thanks for a very nice arrangement of a beautiful song. I love the part where the diver gets his foot caught in a giant clam, but it was only a dream. _________________ Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother. |

Orbison was always my favorite singer, but this is not one of my favorite songs by him. Dare I say, I like your version better. You nailed it! _________________ Bob Shilling, Berkeley, CA--MSA S10, "Classic" |

For me, "Leah" is part of a genre, and for want of a better term, I call it South Seas/Exotica, including such works as "Bali Hai," "Adventures In Paradise," "Pagan Love Song," "Kalua," "Follow Me," (Mutiny on the Bounty," and perhaps "Boy On A Dolphin," but its in the wrong sea. They were all movie themes, tapping into the post WW2 interest in Polynesia, after the dreadfully bloody campaigns out there. _________________ Don't go in the water after lunch.
