Be sure to keep the bar under you index finger, And only put pressure on your index finger, This may help with the problem.
Other things can cause this problem also.
What frets are you having the problem?
If the problem is at 1-2-3 fret may be a nut roller problem.
If it happens at just certain frets it can be caused by groves or rough places on changer fingers.
Sometimes you get strings that work harden where they leave the changer finger. The 4th string being raised and lowered, Some strings will work harden and lift up off the changer finger. I joking call it the Gremlin trying to sing harmony with the string.
Good Luck finding the problem and a cure. Happy Steelin. |
