Emmons lashley 111

You can see from the bottom someone unhooked the wiring from the control knobs and switch and went straight to pick up. Does not affect the sound or playing at all. $3800 for sale or trade. As always I’ll ship. Call or text 615 680 4178.

More than reasonable. I have two-III's and one-II and wouldn't take a penny less than what you're asking.

When the late Lynn Stafford did the set-up on my most recent LLIII, he told me it was Emmons finest guitar in his opinion. I trust the opinion of this master.

I had one exactly like this years ago and it may even be the same one. I traded it to Lynn Stafford for a LG-II D-10 and I’ll say the loss was mine! The LG III remains to this day one of the best sounding steels of the countless I’ve had and by far the smoothest playing Emmons I’ve ever had. Nearly zero cabinet drop! I definitely should’ve kept it but needed a D-10. I anticipated similar tone & playability of the LG-II but there was no comparison. This is a gem of a steel.

They always sound better when you bypass all that tone circuitry...with single pickup guitars, I bypass all that stuff and go straight to the output. but...that's just me.

Where do you dig up all these fine guitars?

Just a comment: I once had a LL III but I did not think it to be the very top of the Emmmons heap as expected, whereas my legrande I with the longer keyhead was the most exceptional of all my Emmons, including a 'Short Key Head" and old Push Pulls. Cannot explain why but the difference was palpable. Good luck Johhny
