Fender Quad Stringmaster Pedal steel! The 3rd neck away from player has a dual pedal conversion by Sho-Bud Nashville. From what I can see this Fender was built mid 50’s with # 00447 and short scale. I do not know when the Sho-Bud made this conversion by adding two pedals on strings three & six to shift up plus adding their pick-up. The four push button neck controls work fine however need a good cleaning which is something I’m not able to provide.

I’ve posted more details with many picks on eBay, Item # 266985506758
as I have difficulty with posting files on the SGF.
EBay listing is posted @ $2500.00 however if you are interested direct on the SGF is $2250.00 (or best offer)
plus shipping in the lower 48 States and this steel is in and ships from Mt Vernon Wa.

Thanks.

This Fender Quad pedal Stringmaster has been sold thru eBay October 7th 2024

I think this is one of the coolest consoles I've seen. I would've thought that it would catch the eye of a collector by now. I think you've got it priced correctly, hopefully out of the feasible price point range of the guys on ebay that part them out. I converted a couple pictures from your ebay ad for posterity, if you don't mind. Good luck with the sale!

Hi Bill,
Thanks for posting a few pics for me.

Actually there is a collector in another country showing interest as of this morning.

Much appreciated,

I have pulled the tuner pan on all four necks and able to confirm the production date is September 1955.
There is number 30 visible on some of the necks which may indicate a certain production rum however not sure.
