Which one would it be?

I would love to hear him play the great Buddy Emmons nameless shuffle.

Wichita Lineman. I love the version he recorded several years ago.

Tommy's great. I couldn't pick one. All mentions are good.

Great stuff on his By Request 90s CD. Too bad it's not available any longer.

And yes, Wichita is a winner, as good as I've ever heard done. Great tone, great execution always.

That's an easy answer; I would Ask Tommy: "Hey Brother; play the song that puts the biggest smile on your face to play".

Shuffle Off To Tupelo. I believe that is the correct name.

Yes, that's the one I was thinking of instead of Nameless. I have edited my reply.

I would ask him to just tab out that C6 teaser that he put at the end of his E9 instructional video. Still amazing!

I’d sooner watch him do a play through and explain what he is doing in the C6 extended clip. I’m not a fan of reading off tabs

I rather doubt that either option will avail itself to us. Smile I agree, though: Tommy explaining it would be perfect.

I rarely want to copy someone's performance note-for-note, but there are some really hauntingly thought-provoking moves in that piece.

It doesn't help that - on my PC, anyway - his Emmons is about four feet long!! I don't know what happened to the picture!

How about "Walk Through This World With Me"? When listening(for the first time) I would dare even a most proficient player to anticipate the moves he would make...the how and when. If there ever was a "listen for it" moment it would cover the whole arrangement. Definitely he is influenced by Lloyd Green(think?). Damn few players of their calibre. IMHO, one of THE best E9 offerings of all time. Way to go TW!😊

"I'm Moving On", "Little Rock Getaway", etc, etc.... I really just love to hear Tommy just sit and noodle around.
