National D8 Grand Console case rehab?

I bought a National Grand Console a few weeks ago and am going through the electronics and cleaning it up. So far, very good.

But the original case is junk.

Covered with gaffer tape, the hinges are all loose, the latches don't work and there's some clear weakness in one of the sides.

I built a case for it in my shop from re-purposed wood.

Built like a tank would be better description.

The case alone isn't terribly heavy. The guitar alone isn't terribly heavy. But, the case and the guitar together with legs is heavy - uncomfortably so.

Are there sources who can rebuild old original cases?
