Sho-Bud Pro 1 configuration

I'm stalking a nice looking Pro 1 in an auction. Looks like an early model 6148 with a 1-up, 1-down changer, three pedals and two levers. Both levers are on the right knee and I'm going to assume it is set up Emmons style. How possible is it to add knee levers and change it to Day style, with the E raise and lower on left knees?
