I am working on a single 10 steel I built, my question is where should the plate be located on the endplate to help the fingerchanger to perform?

This is a picture of a MSA classic stop bar. It must be placed to line up with the Lower levers, So the Lower return spring returns the Lower lever firm against the stop. The tension on the string brings the Raise lever firm against the stop bar. (Raise bar can not be seen, They are behind the lower return levers. The raise levers are shorter since no return spring is required.)
