Ordering a custom G2 Mullins and thinking of doing a more subtle American colors one. Ever seen a more subtle looking steel with red white and blue colors? Looking for some inspiration.
Thanks!

Great Idea! Hope it passes the torch to Americans that see you play it! I bet they do a great job with the colors! As my favorite saying goes:

These Colors don’t run!!

Post a pic of it when you get it.

Thanks

Back around 2004 the was a Forum member by the name of Polly Holly who had a red, white and blue Zumsteel. I remember seeing a picture of it but could not find it using search. She only posted 4 times.

Also: Didn't Jerry Brightman play a red, white and blue pedal steel (at least for a short time) with Buck Owens?

Anthony, I'm sure a Mullen in those colors will be a beautiful steel guitar.

I forgot who I mocked this up for some years ago. But the logic was to have the front panel wrapped using vehicle wrap. The thought was to have the vinyl removable and changeable.

I don’t have pics of it and it’s gone but I had a sweet marlin red white and blue steel that I think was made for the bicentennial. I may be wrong but that’s what I was told

Something like those old Buck Owens Harmony guitars would look awesome. Hard to nail it just right a couple of these posted above give me more firecracker icepop vibes instead of Old Glory.

I like the flag Mooney has in the middle of his steel here.

Sorry - removing sentiment from the equation - but I can’t say any of those guitars look good.

John, very un-American of you….you….you Aussie 😎 ha!
Very un-popular to say here, but I agree with you. Everyone has different tastes, but I personally prefer the flag high on a flag pole. Or draped on a hero’s casket.
But to each his own.
Now all black steels. Or all red. Or sunburst……that’s a different story….
