Topic: Help with wire ring GL pickups. |

I want to put GL pickups on my steel, could someone please tell me what wires go where I'm sure the red is live and the braid is the earth, but not sure what the black wire is for, any help would be very much appreciated.

Red is signal, while black and shield should be tied together as earth.
