Pretty self explanatory - I thought a century at a good price but it had no headstock plastic sleeve or bridge cover piece of any kind. Does anyone have these parts for sale or know what I should look for, like the names of the pieces?

Here is the eBay listing with photos - I just wanted that P90!

I am sure these parts will be tough to find but wanted to ask - any leftover salmon, anyone?

Difficult pieces to find, especially in good condition. They were fragile, and easily removable. Many find the pickup/bridge covers (Gibson's term was "fingerrest") obtrusive to their right hand technique, me included. I've removed them from from my Centurys, Ultratones, Royaltones, BR-6s, and BR-9s.

My advice would be to play it just like it is. You're fortunate it retains its rare salmon pickup surround. The combo platter of the stud-mounted wrap-around bridge, and an original P-90 is tough to beat. One of Gibson's all-time best-sounding lap steels.

Thanks, I certainly will play as is but figured this would be the best place to post what I am looking for.

I’d really like a Fender 6 string with dual pickups - I don’t know if that’s called “deluxe” or studio but my impression is that it would be a deluxe 6. I have several with a single pickup but no steels with dual pickups so I’m just interested in that and consoles with multiple necks, and pedal steels potentially that would work well for beginners. I have the sho bud made Fender S10 with 3 pedals, and one lever and it’s fascinating to see and understand how it works. I can’t get enough of playing steel, and would love to find a mentor or teacher here in Indianapolis (I live north in the Castleton / Fishers area)

Cheers friends! You’ve all been very helpful and I appreciate it very much!
