I know Quilter is quite popular here on the forum, anyone tried this on pedal steel yet?

I own one and have played pedal steel through it. The sound is similar to the SuperBlock US but has a more lush reverb. It doesn't have the separate 25 W amplifier built in. It's just a preamp with stereo output. There are built-in cabinet and speaker configurations, but I play it through an FRFR-powered speaker and prefer the simple tone controls. The stereo outputs control the feed to my speaker and the output to the PA. There is a boost switch, so I don't have to use a separate distortion pedal. I run my guitar directly into the input, and volume pedal, and delay pedal into the effects loop. I use an active volume pedal. |
