Here's a cool ending I cribbed from Canadian Jazz guitar master Ed Bickert. Key of D.

I will have to give that a try. Ed is such an underrated guitar player! He has a really unique style and doesn't sound like anyone else. I put him up there with Breau, Pass, and Farlow. His recording with Don Thompson, At the Garden Party, is my most listened to recording over the last year (according to Spotify). His playing was what really sold me on a Telecaster.

Ed was absolutely in the same class as those players. His voice leading style was so musical and swinging. Pure genius - and I don’t use that word lightly. The Mosaic box set with Paul Desmond is stunning.

Thanks for posting that; can’t wait to learn it.
Bickert is one of my all time favourite guitarists. He is totally unique in his style and execution; instantly recognizable. Can’t say that about too many jazz guitarists.
Ed is fantastic on above referenced recordings. He also shines on ‘The Ballad Artistry of Buddy Tate’ with the EB trio.
He gets plenty of solo space, and showcases his unique approach to accompaniment.
