All,

A forum member here, Jeremy JT Young, received an email from a "Ricky Fowler" offering to sell a D10 Marlen for $210 by PayPal Friends & Family (yes, $210 ugh!).

JT immediately knew it was a scam & played along to get more info. JT was able to trace the photos the scammer sent him back to my post here of my red 1971 Marlen D10 that I had restored a few years back.

The PayPal account was tied to a "Donald Mcneal".

If you get any unsolicited offers to sell (cheaply) a red D10 Marlen, it is a scam!

If you know who "Ricky Fowler" or "Donald Mcneal" are please post here.

For reference this is my Marlen D210:

And, no, it is not for sale! And I think it is worth a lot more than $210.

Thanks to JT for discovering this scam!!!
