Anyone know what the thread is on the Rondo SX legs? Rondo doesn't sell sockets separately and doesn't provide any information or support for their products to be used on a different brand of lap steel. My customer owns an SX and wants to use the SX legs on both the SX and his Melbert. McMaster-Carr has an abundance of thread adapters so this should be an easy fix. |

You can actually get them from Rondo music. I inquired about getting a few inserts for a stand I was making and ordered 3. They were only like $3 each too. This was last year so I would think you still could. Good Luck

Todd, I already emailed them and they replied saying they don't encourage the use of their products on other brands. They wouldn't answer my question regarding purchasing the sockets without buying the legs. It was pretty much, go away we don't want to talk to you. Bob |

Sorry to hear that! Weird, they were super helpful with me. Maybe mentioning that you were not using them on an SK turned them off? Bummer |
