I have been playing pedal steel for one year! I bought my Excel in August of 2023. I recently started posting short videos of me playing songs on the C6 neck, mostly jazz standards. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_jvfsPvC92/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Well, I’m not too shy to say that that sounds really nice, especially for only playing one year. The accuracy of your bar movement is good and your pick blocking is already good. Plus, I noticed no difference in tone of the notes picked with your bare finger compared to the fingerpicks. Looks and sounds like you’re coming along great. Keep it up!

Mighty Impressive! I hope that in one year of climbing the Hill to be half as talented as what I just watched!

Bravo!
