Topic: Need a tuner recommendation - accurate cent offset display |

I've used the peterson stroboplus for years with the sweeteners but it's falling apart and I need something else with equally high accuracy but with a cent display.
I tried a Seiko but it tells me it's a completely different note than what I'm actually playing about 1/4 of the time.
Using a tuning app on my phone/just tuning by ear works very well but isn't practical when I'm trying to tune quietly at a gig.
Definitely need a cent offset display and not the Hz offset that seems to be a prominent technique in threads I've looked up on tempering.
Anybody have good experience with anything like this?

| I have no issues with the Seiko SAT800 and it has been my gigging tuner for several years now. The deviation from ET in numbers (cents) are my tuning system and it works for me. My only wish is that it were less twitchy/sensitive. But it tracks the notes just fine. |

My new Stroboplus has a cents offset, if that's what you're looking for.

I still exclusively use my BOSS-TU15, a great upgrade from the venerable TU-12: lighted display; auto-off; in-tune chirp for when you're in tune can be on or off; etc.
The real analog needle show me exactly how variant from straight up my note is. I never took to my StroboPlus HD because of its lack of that. Maybe it does that and I just don't know it?...

Same, John... I always wanted to SEE the offsets from zero on the dial. But when my Boss went by the wayside, I broke down and got a StroboStomp. It would be much cooler if it had the option to also display the current cent value, but it works well as is.
