Looking for a 4 ohms, 15" speaker - need to replace one in a Peavey Session 400.
Would love to have a Peavey black widow 1501-4 but seems they're harder and harder to find...

Good choice Travis. Hang on for a few days. I bet there's one out there. Many players have replaced them for lighter neo speakers, but the 1501 SB [shallow basket] is hard to beat for steel guitar.
Some players like the DT [deep throw] longer baskets but the SB has the best low end. Good Luck! |

| Hi Travis, The Black Widow in my Session 400 just let go and I replaced it with a Travis Toy TT-15 Emenience Speaker. Sounds Really Good and the weight is also lighter. I think I probably like the sound better now than I did. Eddie |

I have a 15" Black Widow that came out of my Evans FET500. I can look and see if it's the model you're looking for.
