Player-grade 40w 2x12 gem of a 1973 Fender Pro Reverb (A 16709). Restored by DJL Vintage Audio in 2023. Non-master volume. Swoosh logo, tilt legs, casters, original Utah speakers, deep vibrato, and lush spring reverb. Non-original grounded plug (safer). Single foot switch included (pictured). Mostly Groove Tubes - all checked out and working well. Solid state rectifier tube (more headrooom, cleaner attack). Some grillcloth and tolex wear; channel 1 bass knob chipped (all pictured). Plays great with that distinct Fender/American tone. Willing to consider shipping - looking at roughly $200 for packing and shipping combined.

I've read where the Pro Reverb was voted the best guitar amp ever made. They said it beat out the Twin Reverb because the Twin Reverb just had too much power for your normal 6 string guitar.
I don't remember who did the voting, I just wanted to share that little tid-bit of information. |

I appreciate the note. I've played it for a year and have loved it. Recently shifted to a Steelaire (for the same reason many of us do - aging shoulders and back!) which I like well enough - nice tone and features. It gets 90-95% of the way there tone-wise, but can't beat a Fender IMHO.

I have a '79 (0r maybe '80) UL, master volume, Pro Reverb. It's all original. It sounds heavenly, surprisingly good. It may be my favorite Fender amp I've ever had the pleasure to play with.
I'll bet this '73 sounds just as good, if not better than mine.
