Thanks Brad. New here and didn't realize there was a WTB section. Budget is flexible. I'd pay more for a valuable vintage piece. |

Near mint 1950’s Supro that I got from the original owner’s wife. His obituary is included. I replaced the stock single magnet with a pair from Lollar. It’s hot. Short scale length at 20-1/2” is good for rock and blues. A true closet classic. I am having trouble loading photos. Please email me. $400 plus shipping from WV 25403. |

Jim - I'm in central Jersey (Somerset/Morris County). I'm hemming and hawing - I enjoy the hunt as much as I enjoy playing, so I'm shopping a a lot. And now I think I'm leaning more towards vintage. |

Jim - 23"? What kind of pickup is under there? Also, does that pickup cover come off without affecting the tone? (I know, I know - EVERYTHING makes a difference.)
Thanks

Forgive my ignorance about these kind of details as I don't play these instruments. I'm primarily a guitar player and usually acoustic guitar. That said, assuming you mean the measurement from the nut to the bridge it is indeed 23". I don't know what type of pickup is under the bridge except to say that it's almost assuredly the original pickup. Nor do I know what the lap steel sounds like with the cover or without the cover except to say the pickup works as do the knobs. You can PM me if you are interested in moving forward and need more pictures. Cheers, Jim (happily retired!) in Florida. |
