2- EL 84 output /2 -12ax7 pre amp/1-6CA4 rectifier
about 15 watts, 1x12 speaker[original]... Works well, no functional issues, outstanding tremelo, LOUD!, nice grind when cranked- really nice all tube bluesy tone.. just a great sounding amp..
Everything looks original, so it may be due for some TLC, but right now it works great and sounds terrific IF you like small EL 84 vintage tube amps.. these were a kind of obscure brand, that was part of the guitar amp building scene that was going strong in North Jersey back in the 60's...
Gregory also made amps for other instrument builders as well as for catalog brands.. There is some good info online for the Gregory amp line. They had many models, from tiny to quite large and fancy..
Cab and grill cloth in nice shape, not pristine, but pretty good.. There is a nice dent in the metal face plate where something was probably dropped on the amp at some point.
Model designation on this amp is Apollo 800.
Same amp as their Mark 10 model, just different years...
I would like to get $250 on this one.. Guys on Reverb are asking $450 for these.... Great vintage guitar amp... If there is any interest here I will get some pics up.... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
