Hello everyone. I need some advice on learning C6. I have buddy’s basic c6 book with no tape. I want to learn the most used type changes, licks, etc

Please someone point me in the right direction

Paul Franklin has a C6 course online. The Youtuber who goes by Steel Picking https://www.youtube.com/@SteelPicking does quite a few C6 lesson. Jody Cameron's Patreon site does some C6 as well as Doug Jernigan's patreon page.

Herbie Wallace put out a number of C6 instructional material (although he plays with the G on top). His work is still available from his daughter on Facebook.

....books were very helpful to me. His 'approach to C6' HWP-200 shows all the chords and grips. Also some tab material available. HWP-201 shows some chord progressions. I have a couple other of his tab books.

I highly recommend Any Volk's non-pedal C6, you will use that knowledge with the pedals too. Excellent primer.

Doug Jernigan serves beginner to expert has a variety of courses.

last but maybe least youtube. Seems all E9.

Im a big advocate of the C6 neck. I think its easier to get good sounds from, compared to that other neck. Er - harder to make a big mistake that is. Dont give up.
