Lets make a deal!

Looking to sell or trade towards a decent 3X4 S10 or SD10 if possible... I'm not too hung up on how it looks, just as long as it's steady and reliable. I'll offer up these for sale individually or trade any of or all three towards what you got. If you're interested in pricing, just send me a PM or I can post here as well. I'm in South AL and don't mind a good road trip within the area to meet, else shipping is on you to cover the ride.

'61 Stringmaster D8
These photos are on the day I got it, it looked pretty rough, I bought a new set of legs, got it all working enough to be reliable for gigging. It had been sitting somewhere abandoned in an old flight case with the foam rotting out, which is what caused the "finish rash" underneath. That flight case was junk, so I just carry in a soft rifle case. https://photos.app.goo.gl/n6cqjfkcqbqQ6vJk9

Late 40's Gibson Console Grand
Bought on consignment from Carters Vintage in Nashville. All original except the knobs, OEM case. The only thing that doesn't work is the volume POT. As I was taking photos, the internal wipe of the pot broke off, so I just bypassed the volume and left it as is.

70's MSA Semi-Classic 3X1
Bought from a fellow forum member earlier this year, solid guitar, pretty clean too. Non-OEM case, I believe it was a Sho-Bud case. Sharpie markings are on scotch tape

Any questions, just let me know, thanks!

Scott, why not just throw 3 more knee levers on the MSA that you already have?

Yes indeed, I have considered that. A few guys told me it couldn't be done or wouldn't know how to do it,,or couldn't come up with the parts. I found one option who had the parts and the capability of doing the work, but the cost of that and shipping back and forth would have been just about as much as I paid for the guitar outright. I would certainly be satisfied if I could add the additional levers, but it would have to make sense for on the amount of cost to get it done.

Scott,

I'll bet you that Kelcey at Emmons in Tennessee could help you out with adding the 3 knee levers.

And try Billy Cooper's shop in Orange, VA. That's a bit NW of Richmond. Your MSA is "clean and solid"; I'd go with that!

Hello folks. Im new into psg playing and i just got a MSA sidekick. What is the difference between the MSA semi classic and a MSA sidekick? Wondering if it would be possible to add knee levers on my sidekick? Thanks for any informations. : )

Hey John,

As far as I know the sidekick is pretty basic with a pull-release changer. I don't think you could (easily) change/add to the copedent on it either, so you've got your ABC and E lowers on rkr. The Semi-classic is drilled out for RKL as well as a 4th pedal/left knee lever of your choosing. If you're trying to get into PSG, the Semi-classic is a great one to start out on. I'm in the process of cleaning and adjusting mine at the moment.
