Peter and DeeDee Allen will host an All-Star Country weekend, July 20-21, at the Silver Spur Dance Hall in Mechanic Falls, ME featuring Redd Volkaert on Saturday night July 20, 8-11pm, and a steel show on Sunday afternoon July 21, 1-5pm featuring Sarah Jory as well as Ronnie Miller, Mark Giles, Bruce Derr and myself.

The Spur house band, Hurricane Mountain will back both shows, with Sarah sitting in on steel for Redd's Saturday night show!

Tickets for each show are $25, or a combined weekend ticket of $40.

Mechanic Falls is a 45 minute drive due north of Portland, in beautiful Oxford County, Maine.

Thanks for the "heads-up," Dan! We will be there. It is always great to Sarah Jory and with a line up including Redd Volkaert what's not to like?

BTW, we found multiple nearby Airbnb options to be reasonably priced.

Sarah Jory: In 1982, at the age of thirteen, Sarah Jory played her first performance at the Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis with Buddy Emmons. And, what a Discography she has built since then! Check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Jory

The PLAYING (!!!!) starts at about 2:01 From about a year ago... WOW!
