Hey looking to see if anyone wants to negotiate a deal for my Joaquin S-8 clinesmith steel I have, looking to trade for a Fender custom deluxe triple neck with the original pickups. The Joaquin comes with the stand that clinesmith sold me as well as a clinesmith tone bar, the steel is in great shape and has only left the house a few times. Email me if you want photos or more info.

Thanks
Ryan

Horseshoe pickups on a Fender?

That would certainly be “custom.”

There’s a Quad on Chilliwack Craigslist.

I mean the old magnetic pickups on the ones made before 1955, I got a double and want a triple.

That’d be either “boxcar” or “parallelogram” pickups.

Trapezoid is the shape you're looking for, I think. I've got a '57 T8 Stringmaster (24.5" scale) with legs and case that you might consider if you can't find a Custom Deluxe. The shipping charges would be painful though.

Yah unfortunately I really want the trapezoid pickups, I have a ‘54 dual deluxe and I really dig it but am wanting that third neck. Nothing against stringmaster’s I just like the bite of those old pickups.

I would likely be able to cover the shipping charges or atleast take more of it as part of the trade
