I found this picture of my dad sitting in the Steel Guitar Forum offices in Cloverdale, 2022. A little peak behind the curtain.

He is missed here on the forum a lot.
His computer knowledge kept the forum running very smooth, He took care of glitches before they became a problem.

I found that you can meet some of the most generous people around steel guitar. Even people who seem too far "uppidy" in our bubble have turned out to be most generous and nice.
b0b tops that list, not that he seemed unapproachable like some of our stars and heroes, but still, he was our landlord and the person who had to run and sometimes rule and ruling he did with almost "Salomonic" wisdom.

He's certainly one which will go into history as "they don't make'em like this anymore".

I met bOb at the Dallas Steel Guitar show several decades ago and went back and forth with emails over the years. A real gentleman and inspired me to play the pedal steel better than I hoped to.

What I will always miss most about b0b is the joy he brought to the steel shows where he and I could connect. Such a good friend! Very Happy
