Up for sale is my sweet, near mint Vintage Modified Squire Telecaster Bass Special by Fender w/ a really nice heavy-duty hardshell case that's never left the house. Plus, some extra goodies...

$799 OBO + Actual shipping not to exceed $75.

I would have advertised it as mint condt., but I didn't want someone complaining they spotted a small scratch somewhere with their magnifying glass 😂. Anyway, it looks super clean. Check out the pics (I didn't even take the plastic off the pickguard/neck pickup!).

These 2-pick-up models are almost impossible to find (and for good reason--they're awesome!).

I bought this new in late 2013/early 2014 in a music store outside of Nashville, used it for one session in my home studio and put it in the case where it's been in my smoke-free, climate controlled studio for about ten years. TBH, Ive taken it out to mess around maybe a half-dozen times over the last decade, but that's about it (strings are the ones that came with the guitar, so you'll need to change 'em and get it set up to suit your taste and playing style).

This baby's in wonderful shape, action is fast and low (I'm sure you can get it as low as you want it with a pro set-up), and it comes with a set of $35 strings, strap locks, and a brand new, $100 custom leather strap. All in all, a gorgeous bass w/ loads of tonal possibilities--but I'm thinning the herd, so it's gotta go!

**Please read some of my 5-star feedback comments about how well I pack and fast I ship!**

Here's what Fender had to say about the bass when I bought it + specs:

Squier is very proud to introduce its new Telecaster Bass Special, which presents an exciting new sonic and stylish twist on a long-familiar design.

Its time-honored body and headstock shape are well balanced by a comfortable medium scale length (32") that will appeal to bassists and guitarists alike. Remarkable tonal versatility comes from its large chrome-covered Fender-designed Wide Range humbucking neck pickup, Duncan Designed JB-102B single-coil Jazz Bass bridge pickup, and three-way blade switching (both pickups together and each pickup individually).

Other distinctive features include black "barrel" switch tip, knurled chrome control knobs, vintage style bridge with four chrome saddles, vintage-style tuners and strap buttons, and single-ply pickguard (black on Vintage Blonde model).
