Who is the steel player working with Waylon? I saw a live version on youtube, where he was playing a Dobro sounding effect on "Waymores blues" and "Shine". It was pretty remarkable. Who is that steel player?? Thanks, Tommy..... |

I found two live videos of "Waymore's Blues." One featured Mooney on steel. The other was from "The Final Concert" Wikipedia credits Robby Turner on that one, and it does have a Dobro effect. _________________ Bob Shilling, Berkeley, CA--MSA S10, "Classic" |

Robby Turner was Waylon's steel player in the nineties and had worked with Waylon until 2002 when Waylon died. |

He also played steel on the famous Wanted! The Outlaws, the first country album to go platinum. _________________ Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
