That looks like my old friend Larry Wilson's guitar. Wish I could.

Hi Johnny, I’m not familiar with your friend Larry , so I don’t know if he owned this guitar , but it sure is a one of a kind , it was mechanically completely upgraded year or two ago , by Harry Jackson, with modern Jackson pull release mechanism, this is practically a new Jackson in vintage Sho Bud cabinet … it doesn’t get much better than that, I’d imagine..

A tone monster Damir. Bobbe Seymour was searching high and low for one of these guitars a year or so before he passed. He told me that their tone was something to behold. Good luck, and hope it ends up with a good home buddy.

Hi Ken , thank you … tone of this guitar is very close to wraparound Emmons IMHO , it is little more Sho Budish, but nevertheless, very characteristic for that time period , time period of the real country music

These mid 60s permanents are the best of all worlds imo and the fact that it is a cabinet end like late 50s and some early 60s model make it extra cool without the issues the earlier ones had (narrow spacing keyhead being the main one )

I have a cabinet end that’s quite a bit earlier than this one (60-61 was ish ) and sounds fantastic.
