I don’t think this question can really be answered. You set your rate based on your experience and skill or your compensation is dictated by the amount the gig pays the band. I also would guess others will not want to share exactly how much they’re getting paid on gigs. Maybe I will be proved wrong…

I might play a nearby gig (that I like) for $100-$125. But if any travelling is involved over 10 miles, it's $200-$250. I've made as much as $1200 for some special affairs, but they're rare, nowadays.

But if I had my druthers, nowadays, I'd rather just get together with a few guys at someone's house, and play...por nada. Mr. Green
