I have a 2 neck Fender. One neck is louder than the other. I know the ultimate solution involves pickup rewinding. But would a quick fix be to install a low value resistor into the louder pickup’s hot wire before the selector switch?

Are both blend pots at the same position? You can move the louder side blend pot to match the other side, chances are you've got one dead pickup anyway. Turn on both necks, might get lucky and be humbucking!

Stephen. Thanks for the hints. Gosh I hadn’t thought about running it with both necks turned on. That might be an easy fix.
