Year built was 1974

I would like to know who this steel was built for.
Specks:
24.(5 scale
One over one changer on E9th on C6th

E9th changer has two raise holes on strings 4 e string a two raise holes on string 5 the b string.

C6th has extra raise hole for string 4 .

Thank you Ricky just seems this is a rare Bud.
I don’t think many Buds with 24 .5 scale and short key heads were made.
They had to be a mold made too cast short key heads.

Well at least this Bud went too a good home here in Nashville too a person who
Will cherish an play this Bud.

Ok Paul Franklin Sr' was Shot and Duane's Custom builder helper; he designed that short keyhead for Lloyd's LDG they built May 1973 for him; because Lloyd was complaining how he was hearing the Overtones that were annoying to him and Paul Sr. said: "I Can FIX THAT" and so he designed a shorter keyhead casting; which made the distance mainly from the rollers to tuning keys Shorter and corrected the over tones; and to get that short keyhead closer to endplate. he did 24 1/2" scale..wala.
Also Lloyd wanted a faster positive pedal and knee action and Paul Sr. said: "I can Fix That" and since the single/single changer fingers with the great sounding 6061 aluminum tops were the huge contributor to the sound Lloyd did not want to change those; So Paul and Duane decided to Weld an extra hole to the only strings that raise twice; so they can get rid of barrel tuning and fix the rods to the rollers on the pullers and do Nylon tuners on the rods at endplate for fine tune; that made them quicker and more positive. So that all happened at the transition period between barrel tuning to nylon tuning; after the first year of LDG;(he did this for Lloyd's LDG month after build); but they started offering those little transitions to new clients; when most didn't really want anything different then the standard Shobud; but some did and so there's maybe only a couple dozen of that shortkeyhead casting were made and used. But nylon tuning did take over; so they stopped welding on extra hole and started making double raise; single lower fingers then changed from "Pro-II and Pro-III" to "The Pro-II Custom and The Pro-III Custom" and onward from there. Paul Sr. would continue to build any custom Jobs for ShoBud until 1978 then he said: "Ok Shot; after I fix the keyhead tuning Problems you have on your new Superpro that just came out; I'm going to build my own pedal steels; so continue on">
