First time on a (outside) gig recently. Ran it through a 4U JBL (from my GDW SS setup) Closed ported cabinet. Several upcomming gigs are out side. Don’t have a place inside where I can crank it up to its full potential right now. Would it be worth my while to go to an open back cab ( same speaker)

If you decided to go in that direction, you can get an unloaded block dock cabinet that allows you to mount the 202 in it.

What Roger said. A 12" Quilter Block Dock is a great home for the 202, and it doesn't have to be loud to manifest its full potential.
