Yes, good find Andy, a band I wish I had seen live. |

Love NRPS, and Buddy was my first "mentor". I listened to his playing day and night every day when I started playing. Then before long I started listening to the guys HE learned from.
I liked his clean tone a lot.. Never was all that crazy about his distorted "rock" sound..Too brittle and fuzzy for my taste, but thats just me.. Many steel players like it just fine. Him, Sneaky Pete, and Rusty were the originators of the country rock style.I wish they were all still around... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

If that doesn't get your foot tapping and your pulse rate up, you're ready for the long pine box. I've seen that clip before but was long overdue to hear it again. Thanks for posting! _________________ Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun. |

Buddy is one of my favorite steel players, and NRPS one of the best bands of that genre!
I agree with Bob's comment about his fuzzed out sound, though. I never dug that, but it did work pretty well on "Dirty Business." |
